I'm coming back to work on my Memento Vivere this week. My family and I have been sick for the better part of a month now, and we all finally seem to be recovering.

The idea inspired this composition is the mother-child dyad. Two lives that are separate but connected - alike but different. I'm still engaged with the idea and exploring it further 💖

By making studies, I create a personal diary of sorts while testing out compositions and new colors. This piece informed a larger painting while holding the memories of admiring the bright colors of spring dandelions with my son.
